I am a real estate agent and advantage homes had a mobile home in a park where I reside it was on the market for approx. 2 years maybe more. On several occasions I called the police when kids broke in and decided to use it as a party house. Or to use the driveway as a "pay by hour motel".
I had a client that was very interested in purchasing the home showed the home to them on several occasions they finally decided to purchase it the reprasentative wrote up the contract and advised me that he would ask the bank to give me $1000.00 as a referral fee I advised him that the normal is a 20% referral fee out of his commission. But I didnt want to argue so I said fine.
He proceeded with the paper work I told him that he needed to fill out a application for for the park but against my advise he put in the paper work after 2 counters it was accepted and went into escrow.
after escrow closed they proceeded to move in then was told 2 days after by the park manager that they did not qualify and would have to move out. I always thought that escrow for a mobile home was a 3 way deal that until they were approved by the park escrow would stay open.
The park manager after about 3 days gave them the ok because of all the hastle.
Now my commission check I was told by him that I would only be getting $500.00 out of the deal. I sent him a letter asking him to reconsider the money after all if it wasnt for me finding the family it might still be sitting there not to mention all the times I took care of the place. I asked him if when he gets his check if he could give me a little more to make up the $500.00 diffrence well I recived a check last week after my broker took his share I recived $322.00.
This company cares nothing about there clients famlies nor people that are helping there company succeed If you see there sign Run,run as fast as you can all they care about is the almighty buck.
