My company was taken by Ron Buff, owner of Buff Sales. Ron Buff was hired as a manufacturer's representative. Everything seemed like he was the real deal. He even sent us a draft Costco contract (which turns out anyone can download off the internet) which looked like he not only knew what he is doing but was really good at it. Ron Buff asked for upfront money to get started as "advance commission". This was a big mistake! (Anyone have a bridge for sale?) After wiring advance funding to Ron Buff, he became non responsive. In short Ron Buff (Buff Sales) stole our money and is a complete scam artist! Do not make the same mistake and ever give a “Manufacturer's Representative” upfront funding to get started. We have done our homework since becoming a victim and learned that real manufacturer's representatives never will ask for advance commission upfront. If they do they are going to steal you money like Ron Buff does.
