Massage Envy Do not pay with your debit card. I used mine and they made unauthorized charges that I did not owe. They told me they would put the two unauthorized charges back into my account but as of yet they hav Southlake, Texas

I was given a pretty convincing sales pitch regarding how much money I would save if I pre-paid for massages. I specifically asked if the massages were prepaid or if they would expire after a year and was told that even though the contract said my membership expired in one year that only meant that I couldn't buy more massages at the discount rate until I signed up for a new membership. The salesperson said I would be able to use up my pre-paid massages.



I marked out the portion of the contract and initialed it and did not give my debit card number.



I prepaid for massages and used about half of them. I noticed that my checking account had a charge from Massage Envy and I had not been for a while. I did some checking and there was two unauthorized charges. I was shocked. They must have gotten my debit card number when I paid the gratuity.



I was furious on the phone but did not get personal or use bad language. I stated I wanted the money back in my account that day. The young lady answering the phone put me on hold and then came back and said finance would call me back but that they were busy with payroll and it wouldn't be that day.



She offered to give me 90 days to use my prepaid massages but only if they didn't give me the money back on my debit card. I refused.



Two days later "finance" called and said they had put the money back into my account but would not honor the remainder of my prepaid massages. I am still waiting for the money to be put back into my checking account.



Do NOT pay with your debit card at Massage Envy!!! If they make a mistake they want you to pay for it and do not do the right thing.
