My story is not unlike those you have read previously.  Yes, I received the mail. Yes I went to the website to sign up for an interview. Yes I received a call and they were full of compliments of my accomplishments and announced that I was accepted to be listed i their directory.  Then, the high sales pitch began, with gold and platinum memberships, free companion pass etc...This free service came with a very high price tag... Then came the mail with your typed up wall certificate, and a website with password.  I have yet to log in to the website.  Then I receive a call wanting to confirm my biography for publication, and somehow at the end of that call I am charge and additional $698.   I have called them, emailed them, no responses....no resolution.    I have called my bank, and have been told that I have to wait until it posts and I try to resolve it with them.     I am beyond livid with this situation.   This is a major scam and I cannot believe they are able to continue to operate without some investigation.  If you receive a letter from them, throw it away!!!!
