I signed up for a year of personal training. I went through 4 trainers in 5 months. One of them was a no show 3 times, showed up 15 Minutes late 4 times and didnt make up the time he was late for. The other 3 quit to go to other jobs that paid more. I opted to cancel the contract because I felt for $660 month, 3 times a week for an hour per session I should have had more consistency. After talking to the fitness director "M" (who I was told was 19 years old) I was going to have to pay a 25% fee of the unpaid services. Even though I was the one who was getting no consistency on training since they all did things different. I was told I would be sent to a collections agency if I cancelled and did not pay. I had to either move out of the area and show proof. Or I had to show proof of a medical condition that prevents me from working out. I would highly recommend finding a trainer who is on their own and has more of a personal interest in the business. The trainers at this location are employees and do not seem to care of your interests or how much you are paying. The fitness directors seem to be naive to business practices on keeping customers happy. Finally the director "A" stepped up and let me out of the contract, but I still had to pay $990.00 cancelation fee for leaving early, and show proof I was moving out of the area. Even though they ripped me off for 5 months of inconsistent training. Beware of this place and their trainers, big time rip off for the money you pay. Better off going with an independent who is local. They will appreciate the business and be more in tune with your needs than this business Core Concepts, at the Mountainside Fitness location on Val Vista and the 202 Freeway.
