Southern Rehabilitation Network - Vocational Rehabilitation Provider Doesnt Listen To Patient Concerns Raleigh North Carolina

Michael Kanai of Southern Rehab was hired by an insurance carrier to provide me with vocational counseling as I began looking for re-employment following an injury. Several weeks of disservice by this alleged professional was met with my complaints and calls for him to step down, which would have allowed me to have another counselor assigned. Here is what I experienced from this alleged professional counselor. Week One--First meeting, he requested we meet at town library, and he never shows up. Week Three--Again, he never shows up for our SCHEDULED meeting. He confirms the appointment in an email, but attempts to cast blame on me for the reason he never showed, for the second time. Week Five--I have some lingering urianry issues from my injury, and this counselor spoke to me about this while other library patrons were beside us at a table where we sat. He made no attempt to keep private matters private. Week Seven--He prepared my resume and added two fake and unearned degrees to my education section. Even though he was well aware that I had no advanced education beyond high school. I complained several times to the insurance company that hired this clown. I complained to his supervisor, Adele Doering, but she would not address the matter. I complained to the President of Southern Rehab, Jane Rouse. She responded in an email saying that she would look into the matter and get back to me, but she never did. Finally, after filing a legal action against the insurance carrier, NC Farm Bureau, they finally fired Mr. Kanai from my case.
