I am another victim of Classmates.com. I have been a customer of that site for quite a while. Evidently, somewhere within their terms of services is bundled enrollment to Shopping Essentials, a nebulous service I can't even figure out. My husband had been checking our banking acct. online and thought I was just purchasing something each month from this online shopping site. When he finally asked me today what the charges were, we realized it had been coming out since May, 2008! Over 100 bucks for nothing. I have canceled the account and will attempt to get a refund from the company.

Do NOT TRUST CLASSMATES.COM. How different is this from coming into my house and stealing 100 in cash from my desk? No different.

Scoundrels. I used to enjoy that site.

I saw a survey yesterday for Shopping Essentials while online shopping and chose no thanks
By completing the survey you agreed to sign up for the program.

Now the survey I saw was very specific that by completing the survey I would be signing up for a program called Passport4Fun and I have cancelled them once already from unauthorized charges on my credit card statement and even though I chose NO Thanks - I am keeping my eye on my credit card statement to make sure I was not crammed AGAIN.
