My company purchased 2 laser ink cartridges from Databazaar.com, because they were a lot less expensive than purchasing them in an office supply store. When we received them, the first one we tried did not work, the company sent us a UPS return label & we returned the cartridge & received another one, which also did not work, we went to buy the original cartridge from an office supply store & that didn't work, we were told that we probably received defective merchandise which in turn destroyed our laser printer. I called Databazaar & explained the situation, they said they could not do anything regarding the printer but would send a UPS label to return the 2 laser cartridges and would refund $55.30 once the merchandise was back to them. We did not hear from them, for over a week & did not receive a refund, so on December 10, we sent them an email & I checked the ups tracking, the package was indeed signed for on December 3 at their Florida location. I was told that by looking at the package weight they could tell that there was not 2 ink cartridges in there, I assured them there was, I had 2 people with me when packaging and sending the box. I did not put them back in the original individual boxes as they came in & then they were in a larger box, I just threw them together in one box & sent them. After stating that, they are telling me that they have another rma# for us and have not received the merchandise & will not be issuing a refund until receiving this. I do not nor have never had any other merchandise from them, I returned the first defective cartridge & then the 2nd pkg containing 2 defective cartridges. They do not answer my emails, they will not return phone calls, I have 7 requests to them asking for a response, have not received any responses. I was assured that somebody by the name of Rita would return my call as she is located in the Florida office, but never received a phone call from her. The only people that I can speak to are located in India and say they will get back to me and do not. I don't know what to do next, but this is not right. They also accidentally sent me an RMA # for a return not too long ago which was meant for another company, but then I received an email after that telling me to disregard the previous message. So, obviously they are making other errors.

This customer has made a lot of accusations and stated a lot of information but the problem is most of it is wrong. This customer placed an order for 2 toners on 09/15/08 which shipped that day and was received and signed for on 09/16/08. On 09/17/08 they contacted our customer service and told us both toners were defective. We sent them a prepaid label to bring these back which we received and shipped 2 more on 09/17/08 which they received on 09/19/08. On 11/14/08 they called back in and stated one more toner was bad so we sent them another replacement which they received on 11/17/08 and a prepaid label to bring that one back which we never received and UPS confirms the label has never been used. On 11/21/08 they called again and asked to have one more toner picked up but for a refund. We gave them another prepaid label to ship this one back which we did receive. No credit was issued because they still did not return the one we sent them a replacement for. We have shipped them 5 toners they have shipped us back 3 toners which means they have paid for 2 toners which they have and I assume have used. As far as a toner breaking a printer I don't see how that could happen. We sell over two thousand of this exact toner they ordered per month and have never had any other complaints like this one.
As for not responding to this customer I instructed our Customer Service Team not to respond to this customer once they started sending vulgar email with threats and demands. I have copies of all invoices, tracking numbers including the one they never shipped back and email correspondence for anyone to see.
Databazaar has shipped to almost one million satisfied customers in 10 years with very positive feedback. We work very hard to resolve all problems but we will not tolerate vulgarities and non business like interactions such as the type this person has spoken and written. We have tried to resolve this customer's problem but they are trying to abuse a very liberal return policy. Databazaar does not manufacture the items Databazaar sells but does stand behind them. We try to go above and beyond normal business practices to satisfy a customer as shown by paying for shipping and the returns of items purchased. This customer needed to send the items back but they have not yet still want credit.
