Well, my experience has been much the same as others on this site. Three years ago I received an email from Robert Allen and his Enlightened Millionaire Institute which is now renamed to Enlightened Wealth Institute.
After a ridiculous 2 hour phone call in which we were being "qualified" as the "special people" that they wanted, we ended up paying to attend a seminar in
Chicago. The seminar was our first - it was a big event complete with singers, motivational speakers, etc. In the end were great promises of wealth if you joined and purchased the advanced program. to make a very long story short, we foolishly believed the nonsense and signed up for everything. As I recall, it cost about $30,000 dollars.

We then attended the next "required" seminar in Las Vegas - a trip I now wish had never happened. We were introduced to the local Remax Power Team and a mortgage processor who was a wiz at his profession. The entire seminar was a fraud. The realtors all arrived in very expensive sports cars (I later found out that these vehicles were leased for this event) and the entire seminar was designed to impress the attendees with the money that could be made by buying homes in Vegas. We were all placed in buses and driven to various condo and construction sites. A large amount of literature was presented to make everyone think that Las Vegas was THE place to invest.

On the last day of the seminar the agents passed out listings for all the attendees while telling us that each listing had significant equity.
This event was very well staged to convince everyone to buy and we, unfortunately, fell for the hype. We ended up purchasing 3 homes and 1 condo based on the recommendations of the realtors.

It is now 3 years later. The homes we bought were overpriced, the economy tanked and all 4 homes are in foreclosure. Prior to becoming involved with EMI/EWI/Robert Allen we were doing well financially. Now we are facing bankruptcy.

I am very interested in initiating a class action lawsuit against EMI/EWI/Robert Allen, but I need more people to join me. Since I cannot leave an email address I will post here again shortly with a website URL for anyone else who feels defrauded by this unscrupulous organization
