I signed up for a free trial of a septic remedy product. I recieved the product and was not impressed with the product nor could I afford the outrageous amount of money that they wanted for it.
Shortly after I got it, I was injured on the job and could not afford to keep the item. I knew that it was already past the 30 days that given in the trial but I thought they would rather have their product back than me keep it and not be able to pay for it. So I called the company and explained what my situation was. I told her that I knew that I was past the 30 days but I was still going to be unable to pay for it, so I asked if I could return it. I only used 2 of the very many small packages in the box. The lady I talked to on the phone was very friendly and nice to me, or so I thought. She told me that if I returned the product that I would not be responsible to pay for it. I thanked her for being so understanding. I shouldn't have.
I later recieved a bill in the mail from the stating that I owed them over $200. I simply ignored the letter becuse I had already shipped the product back as soon as possible like the lady on the phone instructed.
I didn't hear anything for a while nor recieve and more letters from them until one Tuesday evening. I answered the phone and the was a man on the line from FBK Products. He proceeded to tell me that I owed them over $200. I told him that I spoke with someone several months ago and they told me I could send the product back reguardless of the 30 days. He told me that I was a liar and that no one at the company would tell me that because they would get fired if they did. I told him that they did and that I am not paying him. He got very irate with me and told me he was going to send me to collections. I told him that he could do so and that I would sipute it and I would report him to the better business bureau. He said fine then he would se me. I told him that would be perfectly fine, that I would love to see him in court. He then continued to tell me that all I was was a debeat xxxxx. I told him to go to hell and hung up.
Of course I couldn't call him back on the number he called me on. It just kept giving me a busy signal. I then proceeded to get online to get the number and call them back when I saw the other complaints on this site. I wish I would have known this before I ever got involved with this company.
