I received a check for $4150 saying I won $270k in the second category of the Charitable Jackpot Draws and a Compensation Draw Sweepstakes also known as the North American Direct Sweepstakes held on January 04, 2007. It then goes on to give me a lottery number and says I won. It then tells me to contact Chris Wood with my claim number where he tells me I won because I donate to charitable organizations that I can deposit the check in my account. I decided to look on the internet to see if there was a scam attached and I found all the information you listed here. I just wanted to make sure people know not to fall for it because it appears to be a legitimate check but I am sure something will happen when I try to deposit it in my account.
