LA Weightloss Closed without warning after 3 weeks!!! Rock Hill South Carolina

I had re-joined LA Weightloss Nov 17th, 2008. I was well into my third week (after losing 10 pounds!) and went to weigh. The door was closed and a note was posted on the door that said it had to close due to the economy. The note left an email address,customerserviced@laweightlossnc.com and that they would be in touch with all customers to arrange refund/product.

I found the corporate franchise number and called them. I was told that they had just found out that day (Dec.12th) about the Charlotte area closing and that the franchise owner had assured them that all emails/calls would be answered. They provided me with the NC franchise number and the email address. I have called 2 times and emailed 4 and have heard nothing. Needless to say, it was Christmas and I could/would have used the money elsewhere if I had known that they were not going to hold up their side of the bargain.
