I almost got taken by this company! It just all sounded too good to be true! It was the most "unconventional" loan I had ever applied for? Having recently been dischargd from a bankruptcy, I'm well aware that my credit score is not very high. This did not seem to bother these folks a bit!
After being "approved" for a $5,000 loan (without any income verification or apparently a credit report), I decided to do a little investigating on my own.Try typing in their web address and guess what? No such website.
I'm so glad I found the Ripoff Report website. It was only days earlier that others had been filing reports about the Moneta Lending Group being a fraud.
I did make the mistake of providing them with a copy of a bank statement and driver's license...........needless to say I'll be on the phone with my bank and the Pa department of transportation tomorrow.
The individual I was dealing with at Moneta Lending Group was a fellow by the name of Frank Gibson at extention 312. He'll be getting an ear full from me tomorrow morning!
