Received a letter in the mail with a check drawn on PNC Bank in Columbus, Oh. The check was from Mooregren Research And Mktng. Inc, regarding a Consumer Point of Sale Sweepstakes, held on Aug 27 2011 in Dallas, TX. The check was for $3797, stating that was part of my winnings to caover insurance and processing for a $28,500 prize I had won. I was instructed to call a Carl Davis at 647-219-8414, prior to depositing check into my account. Supposedly the company doesnt deal directly with the public so they forwarded it to G & P Consultants to process. Please look into this matter and see that these thieves are aprehended, they could be preying on poor elderly victims that are barely making ends meet, and might be conned into being robbed out of money they hardly can afford to lose.
