I went in to have my son's one year old pictures taken recently and I was informed that the cd I use to pay 9.99 for is now 100.00. this is an outrage and rediculous that when a company is bought out that the new company can change prices that much with out notice.

I understand your frustrations with the current price of the cd.
The reason that it is this price is that the qualities of the images are better for printing.
Do you remember how the images were either too dark or grainy when you printed them?
Well, this is no longer the problem.

Plus there is a copyright release on the cd too.

So if your printer is down and you need a few 4x5s you don't have to go to the studio and wait for the product to come back there.
A copyright release for one image is $14.99 (film) and all 7 would equal to $104. You don't have to write a letter explaining what you need the copyright release of that portrait for.
I'm going to like the cd when I get one for myself. Since I'm an artist, I will be able to create even more of my daughter using my graphics programs. Plus, I would have so many prints to fill a drawer.
