Riddle & Associates They contacted me again by phone! Sandy Utah

I got a phone call today at 12:45 pm. When I answered it was an automated greeting that mentioned their name as Riddle & Assoc.and the call instructed me to press 9 if I wanted to speak with a representative. Well when I did this I was then disconnected!I looked up the name on Ripoff Report and got their toll free number
and called. I got the recorded greeting again and I was connected to a rep. named Matt. He verified my phone number and name and he told me that the phone call was in regards to my former master card account with Aspen Master Card. I did previously have a credit card from this lender and obviously the bank sent the account to Riddle & Associates to obtain payment for the balance. I
told Matt that I wanted verification on paper to be sent by mail to me. He then verified my address and I confirmed it, I also told him that the law firm has been continuously calling me on weekends and that whenever I've tried to speak with them I've gotten a message
telling me that nobody is available. Obviously their office is not open for business on Saturday/Sunday and yet they have persisted in calling my phone number just about every weekend! I also told Matt that they are to cease trying to contact me on weekends and that I looked up the firm online today and saw many filed complaints.
To which he said that he is aware of the number of online complaints! Matt also told me that they are within the law to try to contact me on weekends and that I need to make my request in writing. He did promise to send me an invoice/bill by mail for this so called debt that Riddle & Assoc. is trying to collect. I also told this person that I am aware of my consumer rights and responsibilities and that I'm also aware of their rights and responsibilities as a collection agency. I told Matt that I shall expect contact by mail within the next several days. On a final note Riddle & Assoc. have been calling my number since late 2007 and I do recall one message from 2008 that stated that "this phone call would be the last one they'd make to my number." And yet they have persisted in calling me every month and leaving
messages and I've previously requested a paper invoice which they've never even sent to me for all of this time! I shall see if I will get one by mail in the next few days.
