Specialty Merchandise Corp Kit returned w/in the time allowed as free Trail Now I get collector calling Me ? Simi Valley California

Given a free trial period to try their products, is NOT free I guess, since I returned the kit in the same box I got it originaly, sent to them, now about a year later, I get a letter from a collector reguarding membership ? so I called them explained that I had returned the kit back to SMC in the same box in which I got it . . there was NO merchandise, which they claim I had. But how since any purchase made has to be paid for, and the only things I got on their kit . . were the catalogs, price list. NOTHING else !!! so from the collection agency they contacted SMC they said they had not recieved anything at all. the gentle man that takes care of SMC accounts at Collection agency was not willing to listen to my claim, all I got out of him, on my 2nd call was " There has nothing been recieved back from you, and unless you pay this now in full, we will be forced to place a law suit on this amount, the best thing for you to do . .is to pay it " this been a collection agency in San Antonio Tx., I told him. . place your suit, as you have such a chean record with previous clients, I assure you you will her about this further, but not with me direct, you will have to deal with others in this matter you do not intimidate me. the agency that is working with SMC is :
