Tax Masters big rip off Houston Texas

Back in February of this year (2008), we hired Tax Masters to help us with the last 3 years of tax returns.We filled out all the paperwork and then sent it all in via certified mail.We paid about 3600.00 total....we also had paid a CPA to do our actual tax returns for each year to help speed up the process. That was another 1200.00 Later about 2 months they asked us to fill out 3 months of paperwork for financial standing..receipts, utility bills, gas, all expenses we paid out and paystubs for each month. This we did and sent in per certified mail. We heard nothing from them. We have been fighting with them now on a month to month basis. They "lost" our paperwork and could we send them all the 3 months of work back to them. I told them "hell no!" They said the paperwork was lost including our tax returns in a file room that was being moved! They refuse to answer phone calls or emails. One person stated "Oh, I guess I didn't check my email" That was the "Manager" of financial services! A week and a half after my email to her! We have been sent from one person to another for a total of 8 people. Most of whom state they are our financial analyst, and that we are in the last stage of getting our case before the IRS. This has been going on for 8 ridiculous, stressful months. I have cried, been worried sick that we spent our money on a huge scam, not to mention the IRS has sent us certified mail for much larger sums of money that we cannot possibly pay! With absolutely no relief in sight. Just alot more problems. We found out about this site through a lawyer I contacted in town. I called the Better Business Bureau and to date they have had 169 complaints! If anyone would like to take this much further please contact me.
