Over the past 18 years I entered Poetry Contest's twice a year which allowed him acess to our copyrighted material. This was his ploy in order to compile our work and turn into a profit. Excluding th 1 Poetry Plaza /Owings Mills , Maryland

It is unethical to use a scam such as a "Poetry Contest" to lure people into thinking they have a chance to win money. Instead Harold Eroy sends out letter's explaining you are now entered into another contest with the chance to win a greater amount of money and that your work has been chosen to be listed in yet another Anthology each containing a different name.



However you do  receive an "Editor's Choice Award" that is simply printed from his computer and signed by him personally.  At this point I have a large three ring binder filled with these accomplishment's, I am also rated in the top 2% of the Nation in Writing. Therefore you would think at least one piece spanning 18 years would have won one of the cash prizes promised in the letter.



He never reveals what place your work came in at in the competition.  He continues writing you trying to sell you one of the first copies at a "discounted rate." He also tries selling you a Plaque to display your work for other's to see. If you fail to purchase any of the item's that's the last you hear from him unless you enter another contest and the same practice applies with each one.



I feel the contributor's of each Volume should be compensated for their work it took to compile the book's rather than one man reaping all the reward's financially based purely on a scam. This is nothing more than "Poetry Piracy", his assets from the sales should be taken into consideration and disbursed accordingly to the Writer's who contributed to his fortune with their work.
