The Knot Bridal Shoppe If you buy a gown stay away from here because they'll keep your money and call the cops! Pueblo Colorado

I went to this shop on january 3rd, 2008 to put a gown on layaway. I found one that was already on the shelf and I gave these ladies 100$'s down to hold it for me. I also bought 8 bridesmaids gowns and got all of my groomsmen's tuxedo's from here.

In march, I went to david's bridal in the springs and found a much prettier and CHEAPER dress, so I bought it. The following day, I called Tie the Knot and informed them that I wasn't going to need the dress I had on layaway and also told them to definitely keep the 100 and just simply put the gown back on the shelf. The lady there got simply IRATE with me and told me that I was backstabbing them and that my girls could NOT pick up their dresses until my wedding gown was paid off.

Now, my girls individually went in and signed their OWN contracts, and paid their own deposits. Inf act, two of the dresses were complertely paid off. I informed this lady that my dress had nothing to do with my girl's dresses and that she would be giving the girls their dresses. She told me she was shipping the dresses back and that we would have to find another place to get our bridesmaids dresses. I informed her she would have to explain that to the girls she took the money from. At this point, I called all bridesmaids and informed them of what this lady told me.

Two of my girls called the shoppe and demanded that she either give up the dresses or refund the money because my dress was not part of their agreement and it did not state anything on the receipts. This lady hung up on all my girls and filed a report with the police saying that my girls were harrassing her. Less than 3 hours later, the lady blocks her number and calls me from a restricted number telling me that she called the police and that my girls better not step a foot near her store.

Needless to say, we ended up getting the dresses, but she overchagred them and one girl ended up paying more than what was on her receipt. I will never recommend this place, NOR will I ever have anythoing good to say about this women. They are very bitter and if you do something they don't approve of, they call the cops. Stay away from this shoppe if you don't want a record.
