Total Protection Plus LLC Att Billing Rip Off Inernet

When my Att phone bill refected charges for Total Protection Plus LLC in the amt of $13.95 I called the billing number listed. First I was told that I had registered to a web site www.usprize.com. I told the man I never heard of the thing, had no idea what it was about. He then went on to explain that I had filled out a box with my name and email address on the site and they had notified me by email of confirmation of the registeration. Now I was really getting hot...Alright lets say some fool really does register for a prize at this web site....how would that lone action result in a charge to my phone bill???

Well seems that when registering for this prize some how your setting up an monthly account with this company for voice mail!!! HELLO!!!! One scam at a time!!!!! I wanted to know what in heavens name a web site for registering for a prize of some sort...(even if one did) which I did not would have ANYTHING to do with setting up a monthly voice mail account!!!!When pressing the issue the young man was very happy to apply a complete cancellation of the account. I went on line and found on this web site where others listing similar scams. My concern the man did have my email address correct. But I never knew any thing about it. Just wanted to warn others to read your phone bills carefully.
