They probably already had your account information

AUTHOR: Laurie - Haslet (U.S.A.)

as they are probably in a working relationship with your credit card company.

Most likely it was your credit card companies marketing services.

They are pressured to make so many sales on worthless crap - so they sign you up even when you decline.

one cc company sends checks to me and if I cash them I am signed up for some worthless program - I do not cash them and get signed up anyway

There are a lot of worthless membership programs out there that no one wants and the "monthly fees" usually kill any savings you would see from joining.

So they "Cram" the charges and hope you do not notice.

Call your credit card company/bank and demand your money back
