The sales girl was very convincing. She said she was a high school student trying to win a trip for selling magazines. She even left a little note on the door telling the other sales people that they were too late, she had already been there. Well, time went by and I forgot about it until I noticed my wife buying a Readers Digest at the grocery store and wondered why it wasn't coming in the mail.
I did some research and found a phone # 304-381-2044 for Champion Clearing who is out of business. The recorded message said if you bought a subscription from one of their "independent door-to-door organizations before Jan,12 09 your subscription will be fulfilled".
Does anyone have more info on these people, like where they live?
