On July 8, 2009 I placed an order online with CRAZED CONCEPTS for repair service to my son's XBOX 360 system.  The amount of $47.44 (for repairs and return shipping) was deducted from my bank account via my PAYPAL account that same day.  The recipient of that payment was Dawn Plante.

I shipped the XBOX system to the company via USPS Registered/Insured mail on July 13 at an additional cost to me of $21.55.  Crazed Concepts reported to me that they received my system on July 24th.

After almost a week (July 30th), I emailed them to see when I could expect my system back.  I was notified via email on July 31 that I could expect to have my system shipped back to me that following Tuesday (August 4th).

On August 5th, I sent an email to see if my system had been shipped out.  I finally received the following response on August 15th:

Crazed Concepts Said:

I apologize for someone not getting back to you sooner. The system should have been shipped back to you already. I will check on the system this afternoon.

To this date (August 29th), I have had no further response from Crazed Concepts.  I have been calling and/or emailing them daily.

When I call their number which is based in Lake Ronkonkoma, NY, all I get is an answering machine.  No one has ever returned any of my calls.  The address that I was instructed to mail my system to was:

Easton, PA 18040

This address is 128 miles from Lake Ronkonkoma, NY!

The site put up a notice on their CONTACT US page that they were going through a management change and to please be patient when waiting for a response.  This notice has been up for a month!  I think I have been patient enough.  They cannot find the time to reply to their customers but they can make changes to their website graphics?!?

On August 25th, I filed a complaint with the BBB.  And today, I am filing a report with RIPOFF REPORTS.  I don't know if I will ever get my system back but, hopefully, I can prevent anyone else from doing business with them or going through the same problems I have been.

Still getting the runaround from Crazed Concepts

Just wanted to update my earlier report on CRAZED CONCEPTS. 

On Sept 9, I was contacted by a person named Max.  He stated that he had been out of town and had walked back into a real mess.  He stated that I had not been the only dissatisfied customer.  He said he would call me back the next day...of course, he didn't.  I called him the following day.  He is extremely apologetic and wants to get to the bottom of this problem....YEAH, RIGHT!

He told me that my system had been located and would be repaired as soon as possible.  Max did call and leave me voicemails a few more times stating that my system would be shipped out and in my possession the week of Sept 21-25.  You guessed it....no XBOX360.

Since then I have called and emailed NUMEROUS times.  On Oct. 2, I received an email that my order status had changed from AWAITING FULFILLMENT to AWAITING SHIPMENT.

On Oct 6th, I got another voicemail from Max.  I just missed the call and immediately called him back.  He was supposed to be there until 4:30 EST that day and the next.  No one would answer, just that annoying answering machine.

    you can take the time to send me a message, then why not answer my
    question? WHEN WILL MY SYSTEM BE SHIPPING OUT AND HOW WILL IT BE

Of course, I have not heard from anyone since that message and I continue to call and leave email messages everyday.

I have gotten to the point that I am looking to hire a lawyer and hit this company where it hurts....their pockets.

XBOX360 SYSTEM REPAIRED AND RECEIVED

I just wanted to post an update to my report on CRAZED CONCEPTS.  After many weeks of frustration, I finally received my repaired XBOX360 system back on Oct 22, 2009.  I hope the others on this site that have had problems with CRAZED CONCEPTS have achieved the same results that I did.
