i was going home and stopped in cloverdale indiana to go to the bathroom at the gas station.as i was leaving the store a guy came over and said he had a home theater system for sale.
being curious i went over to the blue chevy suburban he was driving to check it out.there were two other guys in there.he said that he was working for dream audio works out of indianapolis.
he said that he had been to a home and that they had brought to much equipment and that his boss said he could sell it for whatever he could get.
when i told him i wasn't interested he showed me a magazine that had the exact products in it and that they retailed for 4200.00.i told him i didn't have any money because i had just bought tires for my vehicle.
he said just make me an offer,so i said 200.00 and he said there yours.i went in to the gas station to get the money out and thought to myself this just isn't right.so i went out and told them i didn't want the
i told him it just didn't sound right.he said here i will open the box and let you check them out, which he did.i then went against my intuition and went ahead and got the money and bought them.
all the way home i felt bad and thought man how could you fall for that.but i kept telling myself maybe i'm wrong.as soon as i got home i went online to check the system out and thats when my worst was confirmed.
i only wish i would have known before.don't fall fo this scam.

Is it that the stereo online was only $350 yet he showed you an ad for $4200?
Maybe you should just say no next time about buying things out of the back of a truck... Probably stolen items anyway, especially if they were selling $4200 worth for $200
