Sniping...

AUTHOR: Edgeman - Chico (U.S.A.)

Experienced eBay users have a tactic called sniping. I personally use two computers. I will have one computer set to the item I want to buy and the countdown timer. I will use the other one for constant refreshing to to see if the item's price is going up. With that setup I can quickly outbid anyone who is trying to get an item that I need.

Of course, there is also sniping software out there which takes the labor out of it.
