Elaptopready.com Or Laptopready mail fraud, credit card fraud, stolen PSP Longwood Florida

I contacted the company via telephone in June 2007 asking questions about their repair service. They sent me a postage paid box via US regular mail to return my son's PSP for repair. I was told to have DHL shipping pick it up and I would be contacted with an estimate for repair. July 2007 repairs were authorized for $113. My credit card was charged July 24, 2007. I was promised the PSP would be ready anywhere from 2 days to 2 weeks.

I called every week for an update and send email's weekly for status. Until the phone number was disconnected (407-965-3367.) The second number 407-679-2100 will answer, put you on hold and then automatically disconnect you within a few seconds. I was given a tracking number issued by the USPS and told the PSP was shipped August 24th.

This is the 3rd time I was told the package had been shipped but there must be a problem with the USPS. Occassionally, someone will respond to my emails but other times I do not hear from anyone. When I do get a response..it is always the same....

This company is committing mail fraud by using the USPS as their cover, committing credit card fraud by charging consumers for services that are never completed, theft by disception by keeping the electronic devices, not completing repairs as promised and never returning the devices to the owners.

I urge every consumer to file a complaint with the Florida Better Business Bureau Office of the Attorney General. Forms are available on their website, just print, complete and mail. If enough consumers complain about this fraud, maybe someone will act against them.
