Purchased a slot machine in November 2009 as a Christmas gift. When it arrived it was broken. When I contacted Family Rec Room I was told that it wouldn't be a problem to return the slot machine and be refunded the $300 I paid for it.
It is now February of 2010 and they have still not issued me the RA# they keep promising. This RA# is supposed to be the magic number that allows UPS to come pick up the equipment. Theresa claimed she would call me with it. She never did. Then she said she would email me with it, she never did. Then she said that I had to call their technical support line and they would give it to me. This company had no idea what I was talking about. The gentleman I talked to told me they have this problem a lot with Family Rec Room.
Then Theresa said an Eric would call me with my RA#. He never did. When I called and asked to speak with him I was told, "Well, he can't hear you back there so I will tell him to call you." Never did.
Now a Susan is telling me call technical support AGAIN because they have to issue me the RA#. This time is gave me a completely different number and this company had no affiliation with FRR at all. She claims she made a typo in the email. Well, how can that be when the number was TOTALLY different.
To cut this ridiculous story short, DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM FAMILYRECROOM.com. They are liars, cheaters and are breaking the law. Save yourself the trouble I am having to go through now.
