To start off, my brother ordered a 24" hub motor conversion kit from this company on Thursday June 4, 2009. We needed this kit for a school project that was coming due Monday June 8, so we searched the internet to find a company located in Florida to cut down the shipping time (we live in Florida). Five Flags Motor Bikes is located in Pensacola so we called them to order the kit in hopes it would get here no later than 2 days from Thursday, giving us the weekend to work on the project. When my brother called, he placed the order with a gentleman and asked specifically if it was a stock item located in Florida and if it was going to ship that same day. The gentleman answered with "yes" (it was located in Florida) and "yes" (it should ship that day)

Well, he called on Thursday June 5 to check the order and get a tracking number (not a tough request in my opinion) and the same gentleman answered first by saying "I can't give you information that I don't have". My brother than asked if it was shipping from a Florida location or if there were other branches and the gentleman's response to this was "well if you want to put me through the wringer, I have a branch in Florida, a branch in..., a branch in ...," etc.

We decided to let it go until today, Friday June 6 (today) and I decided to call to see what answers I could get. I started off by stating that my brother called yesterday and couldn't get any tracking info and I was calling to see if he could possibly get me that info. His answer was "I have a list here, let me check it". "No, don't have any info here". I asked if he had even shipped it yet and his answer was "I told your brother yesterday I can't provide information that I don't have" He then told me the shipping branch is very busy and they don't pick up the phone to answer these questions. I asked if he had a number I could call to ask someone if they had the tracking information and his reply was "I don't have to take this kind of harassment, if you have a problem with this we can cancel your order." So, I told him, yes, if you can't provide me with this simple information or give me the number to someone who has it, cancel my order. He proceeded to hang up on me.

I own a business and when I went through this process on the phone with this gentleman, I was steaming!! I would never handle a customer in this rude, unprofessional way no matter what. There is no excuse what so ever to act this way to a customer who is asking for such a simple request. Anyhow, when I read this other persons complaint about this company, I understood that he is absolutely correct when he stated that this company is very rude. He is 100% correct in that. Stay away from ordering with this company if you don't have a very strong patience!!

Needless to say, we now have a huge problem and have to find a hub motor FAST!! I just wanted to make you know about these guys so you don't have to go through what I just did.

I have discussed this situation further with the vendor of this equipment and we have come to an agreement to keep the item in shipment to save time and money for us both. The gentleman handled the issue professionally and I will report back once I receive the items ordered. I will report on the quality and performance of the items after installation.
