Fortuna Enterprises Horrible company with poor ethics ripoff Buffalo New York

Item stated as tested and working. Item arrives not working, missing piece and horribly packaged. Company tries to implement 15% restocking fee when they will not be restocking a knowingly broken piece of equipment.

They create offers to try to get you to accept less and make you pay for return shipping. Because of their lack of attention to detail and deceptive practices I am out an extra $10 shipping.

I would be highly cautious dealing with this company as shown by their previous trail of complaints. Wish I would have seen this site sooner.

My experience with Fortuna Enterprises has been above & beyond GREAT!

I have bought many, many things from Fortuna & the experience has been exemplary. On the rare occasion that there is a problem, i.e. like missing an adapter, they have gone out of their way to resolve this right away. Mind you, 99.5% of the time, with the many products I have bought, the items are as described or even better than described. Sometimes with liquidation merchandise, consumers have to be aware that errors occur, but comparatively, they are some of the best companies for this type of merchandise I have seen. Customer service was friendly & quick to resolve, the packaging was excellent & prices could not be beat!

Funny how the respondent is from Buffalo, New York as the company is. Obviously an employee or owner. This should send up additonal red flags.

Fortuna is an Honest Company with great products!!!

Did you ever think that many people from Buffalo, NY buy their items from Fortuna because the company offers local pickup service?? I would accept emails from anyone & show a list of the items I bought. 95-99% of the time, all the items I buy from them are exactly as described and when they are not, it is very easily resolved.

Hello,

First, please let me introduce myself as the manager of the Customer Service department at Fortuna Enterprises Inc. Sorry, I haven't had time to see what the buzz was about Fortuna, on "ripoffreport" lately, but here I am now, swooping in to put this matter to rest!

Vicky most definitely does not work for us, although she might as well, with all the thousands of dollars in business she has spent here!! We recognized her right away because she is a constant bidder and stops in quite often to pick up her TRUCKLOADS of stuff she has won on auction!

:) Thank you Vicky for sticking up for us! It's nice to see a truly happy customer who is looking out for our reputation as much as we are!!

To the person who initiated this complaint, quite simply, if there is a problem and you do not like the way we handled your RMA, just email me at alicia@fortunaenterprises.com, or call 716-250-7410, and once I have your order # or auction number, I will be able to see what I can do to resolve your dissatisfactions, and check to see if your RMA was handled correctly in the first place. Until you can contact me though, there will be little I can do to help you, because I do not know who you are, or what you bought.

As many companies will say, if you like how we do things, tell your friends, but if you don't like our business, tell us first so we can fix it!

Give me a ring or shoot me an email and let's see what I can do to assist with this matter.

They didn't satisfy my needs. They won't satisfy yours. If they were as good as they state there wouldn't be so many complaints against them.

The pretend customer didn't work as it got called out right away so now the obvious ploy is to bring the sheriff (manager) in.

Once again, just remember I warned you all.
