Home Depot Wont Stop Advertising Products They Don't Have - Altered Orders Submitted on The Internet, Internet

I purchased a portable generator online from home depot.

The advertised large discount was documented and included in the sale including the credit terms with my home depot card.

The next day the order was placed on back order.

Two days later the order was cancelled by Home Depot.

The record of the original order in my online account was altered so teh terms and advertised discount vanished.

I called customer support to ask why they still advertising an item for sale online still when they don't have the item to sell and will not be getting the generator in the future and are cancelling all orders for it.

As I write this, days later, the same product is still available online with the advertised special. The product can be purchased but does not and will not exist. I have pointed this out and they still have the online sale item available. They know the product doesn't exist and they can't get it but continue to accept bogus purchases after my complaint.
