I bought it 2-3 months ago and have been sorry for my stupidity. Almost all the time, there are too much static or no connection at all - and I end up using my cell phone.
Personally, this junk came from probably a "boiler room" type company and their "support" is an equal shamful operation. I don't think there is solution for Magic Jack's problems and they know it. They just pretend that these problems can be fixed by removing & reinstalling their program and/or whatever they had me do. When I ask them (several times over) a simple technical question, they won't answer. When I ask to be escalated to a supervisor, they tell me that there is no one between the owner and support people. I have top of the line computer and high speed cable connection.
Don't waste your money on this junk.
