Radio Shack Selling equipment with known problems Ripoff Fallon Nevada

I purchased a Radio Shack scanner model 2055 and within weeks the digital readout went blank.
As it turns out all of this model has the same problem.
The unit was replaced by a dealer in Fernley Nevada and now 6 months down the line this one quits also.
Searchimg the internet I found out that all of these models have the same problem and Radio Shack refuses to acknowledge the problem.
Although they did replace the original one, it seems they now want almost $100 to replace the digital readout in the replacement.
They know there is a problem and should either refund the price or fix the problem permanently.
I have further found out that the ones they do fix still fail after they have charged for the repairs.
