Several problems with Beloved Experiential so I will just get straight to the point. I have yet to receive the Coca-Cola payment that I executed back in May -- payment, I thought was just running late...however, I contacted the main booker,Nichola Selby-Ortiz after I sent in my contractor's agreement to confirm her receiving it. After two weeks, she did not respond. But she had nerve enough to call me to promote another event...I told her yes (silly me, I know...but I really thought she was cool and it would get worked out), and also asked about my payment from the previous event. She told me that they have yet to receive my paperwork that was possibly because the mail was running late and that I should give it a few more days. I waited about a week and asked again via email if she received it. I also notified the accountant on their website to inquire about the check on the same day. Got a response from the accountant that said my check would be mailed out Friday...she did not however, confirm that she received the paperwork to process my check. Also got a response back later on that day from Nichola stating:"Please submit your new hire paperwork www.belovedxp.com/forms"

I was getting two different responses and no answer. So I decided to wait it out to see if the check would come. Two weeks later, NADA. Emailed and CALLED both the accountant and Nichola and NO ANSWER!!! This agency is not reputable and poorly regulated. They are disrespectful towards their hardworking, reliable BAs and I will NEVER WORK FOR THEM AGAIN.

Please don't waste your time. When I showed up to the 2nd Cola event, it was canceled and Nichola who was in charge of booking the event didn't even have the galls to email me to notify me that the event was canceled. I drove 30 min. from my home to get their. Apparently, she notified everyone else but left me out. I also requested gas money allowance for the misshap and guess what? NADA.

I will continue to seek out my check if it squashes me. Will update.

There is an update on this matter. I received my check when I sent in MORE emails stating that I would notify the BBB report their company. Magically, I received my check within 3 days after the threat.

Nichola's excuse as to why it took so long to get my check was because she was unable to receive my previous emails due to a "computer failure" at the office and b/c their power was down.

I don't believe it. With those expensive blackberry's they're using, someone could have EASILY emailed all the BAs to let them know that checks would be sent out late.

Plus, her ignorant scheming self didn't even apologize for the Brookfield Zoo misshap, nor did she compensate me for gas.

Another guy who did the same Cola event NEVER RECEIVED HIS CHECK--now it has been over 2 months! Others I have spoken to say that Beloved is shady and will try to skip out on paying.

This is really sad.

Similar situation. Nichola has not returned my emails and has not answered any phone calls.

Workers are told to fill out an 'Online Payment Inquiry' form, and told that if they do that, they will received an inquiry within 48 hours. I filled that out over a week ago and still have not received any reply. 

I strongly advise against working for Beloved.

Beloved Experiential has been in business since 2004 and is both a reputable business and leader in its industry. No matter how slanderous, erroneous or inaccurate the information posted about our company on this site is, Ripoff Report will not remove submissions from either party. With that stated, we have no other recourse but to respond in this forum.

While we are sensitive to how the current economic climate has affected the urgency for contractors to get paid on work performed and completed, our clients are also affected by the economic conditions and, as a result, are frequently delinquent with us or demanding an increase in net payment terms. Fortune 500 companies are demanding net 60-120 day payment terms without negotiation, despite our contractors' needs to collect payment much sooner. Unfortunately, we are not in a position to bankroll these large corporations and advance funds to contractors while we proceed with collection efforts.

Lastly, section 4 of the independent contractors agreement which all Beloved Experiential contractors sign, clearly states "Agency shall pay Contractor within seven (7) days of Agency’s receipt of such compensation from Agency’s client, according to the rates and terms set forth in this Agreement and any applicable Addendum(s)." We have always complied with these terms and it is not of interest to us to hold payment from any of our contractors.
