did he let you use your own photographer for photos? did he get you actual work? how are his practices shady, then? did he personally treat you without respect? it's strange to see a company with established performes do that.

No, he stated that i COULD use my own photographer, but then said the model's who went against his reccomendations wers "stupid and unprofessional". He didn't get me anything. I went to a hair show that was advertised on Craigslist where NONE of the model's had agents or managers. Sort of a cattle call, anybody can come in typre thing.

His practices are shady b/c his contracts are so outrageous, hes a major hypocrite and he's unlicensed. Yes, he throughly disrespected me by having me work for him for 2 months and not pay me ANYTHING! Regardless of a contract, I was hired to do office work for him and he never once paid me. When I went to his office, he said he'd call security. Days later he stated he had no money to "loan" me, Even though i worked my butt off for him. When i contacted him about how crazy the situation was, he told me he was going to put a restraining order on me. He hadme work for him, use my gas to run his errands, took food out of my children's mouths, so yes, I would say he disrespected me to the extreme. Me and my children.

How many "established performers" does he have? None have major record deals. He stated you must check in every monday or be hit with a $50,000 fine, although I am aware of 1 of his clients who hadn't called in 2 years. Yet and still, no lawsuit. Just beware. I am in the process of filing a claim with the department of labor b/c what he did to me is considered a felony by the state of California.

Ha, please forgive me if I sounded like a jack*** on my last posting. The whole Starpower Management thing confuses me. On their myspace, they mention co-producing movies about martin luther king and marvin gaye, that one client of theirs, moira, was seen on the red carpet (though god knows how she got there!), and those guys like jim trenton, mel novak, and tom tangen aren't major players, but still have credentials. That threw me off, but coming back and reading a batch of fresh new ripoff reports and your update added to it. I've gotta admit that I was tricked, that it sounds like they're doing this to throw off everyone else to make them believe that they're legit when they scam people on the side.

I had no idea that bruce was so rude and unprofessional, and he has no right to call someone stupid and professional because they won't go with his special photographer. it's scary how each oand every one of these ripoff report are echoing each other and reporting the same things, and everyone keeps on describing him as creepy. I considered submitting my screenplay to them, but not anymore.

Are you in touch with other girls from there? Do you know anyone else who went through the same thing? I was thinking...you should consider getting in touch with them, teaming up and going to the Santa Monica PD to file a police report.

I applaud you for starting the process of reporting him. You are very strong and brave for doing this, no one has the right to compromise the health and safety of you and your kids. Pleae keep everyone here updated.
