My Name is Kim **** Below is from a newpaper in NYC, I was on a soap opera at one time while I lived in NYC. I myself went to Dwight Agnor's Model Expo and never had a problem. I went back 1988 and in 1989, I did not get signed my first time going, I had a bigger dream. No one can stop your dreams if your dreams is big enough. I started Acting and Modeling, working in Grand Rapids, Chicago and Detroit. I did print ads and commercials for some very large companies, Steelcase, Amway, Herman Miller, Meijers, Gilmores Dept. stores, Rogers Dept. stores, and Dayton Hudsons, start taking acting classes at the Grand Rapids Civic Theatre and appearing in plays. I went to a modeling and acting convention where I met an agent from New York City and he said, 'hey, if you come to New York City, we'll represent you.'" So this bright, articulate and soft spoken Aries made his way to the Big Apple to pursue his real dream of acting. I've studied at some of the most prestigious schools in New York City "The Neighborhood Playhouse, New Actor Workshop, Terry Schrieber Studios, Weist-Barron" and with some of the most respected teachers in the business," he added enthusiastically. I also managed "The Coffee Shop" a very trendy cafe while I honed my craft. I was on a soap opera for two years, I've done about twenty five commercials, been in a Madonna video, twelve films and in two hundred print ads. This was written 10 years ago. I have gone on to do much more. Stop worrying about what other people say. I have spent over $20,000 dollars going to acting school, getting new headshots every 6 months, this is a business and treat it as a business. You have to spend money period!!! Headshots cost $300 to $500 every 6 months, this is out tool of the trade. Please people learn the business before you go out and try to hurt a man's charactor because you did not get pick and a model/actor convention. Dwight has been doing the expos for 20 years and some of us have done very well as actor or models. We took to chance, did not let anyone get in our ways and we have been on the covers of magazines, been in soap operas, been in commercials, or have done hundreds of print ads, I know personally several of Dwights other model or actors who have been discovered by him! or maybe they just discovered themselves and the path (the Secret) or the doors were open for them. Learn the business, go to Dwight's expo and go to win. I feel sorry for those of you who go there and you walk in the door and think? is this for real! you are already lost with thinking that way. Rebuttal To Dwight Agnor Report Model Search NYC Clearwater Internet

There are people complaining about Model Search NYC and I would just like to say that my daughter went through the process. The Photo Shoot and the Expo and unfortunatlly she wasn't what they were looking for, but the thing was legit. My daughter is a beautiful young girl and I'm not just saying that because she is my daugter, she really is beautiful, drop dead georgous! I can understand why they didn't pick her because she is only 5'4" and she is very shy and she was so scared that she forgot to smile at the judges for God sakes, those are not qualities that they look for in models and she also understood and shook it off and will try harder next time. Sure it hurt her feelings and she cried but that is a very tough business to be in and if being rejected was all it took to get these people that hurt, then that was probably not her destiny anyway. Rejection is a part of life.

At fist I thought the pictures of my daughter were pretty crappy and the quick make up job, but now that I have been watching America's Top Model I can see that they are like that with the models, we just don't have an eye for the photo's. They probably would have been better had my daughter knew what "she" was doing, but again lack of experience shoed on the pictures and she will just have to try harder next time. I think model search nyc is the best modeling scouts out there. Everybody doesn't have what it takes.

Dwight Agnor may have posted that the person was lying. Then why is he out of business? Take a look at his links he mentioned....they are all gone. Dwight Agnor has moved on to another scam - nutritional supplements with Lifemax. I guess he can't scam anymore models as his reputation preceeds him!

Once again, whoever wrote these lies refuses to leave his / her real name or contact information. Our records show that no such person with the spelling of this first name was never invited to participate in The Model Expo or the photo shoot.

If any of this was true why was no complaint filed with the Better Business Bureau or any Consumer Affairs agencies? The answer is simple...THIS IS ALL LIES!! NOT ONE WORD IS TRUE!!! THIS WAS NO DOUBT WRITTEN BY A LOSER WHO WAS NOT GOOD ENOUGH TO BECOME A PROFESSIONAL MODEL AND SO THEY CHOSE TO HATE ME FOR TELLING THEM THE TRUTH!!

Ask yourself this question....IF THESE KINDS OF ACCUSATIONS WERE TRUE...don't you think that after 20 years of interviewing over 100,000 "wannabee" models every year, that there would be hundreds of complaints to the BBB and consumer affairs agencies....and wouldn't there be thousands of complaints online on sites like these?? Instead, there are NO LEGITIMATE COMPLIANTS WITH ANY AGENCIES ...and only a handful of compliants like this one and THEY ARE ALL ON SITES LIKE THIS ONE WHERE PEOPLE CAN HIDE WHO THEY REALLY ARE AND SAY ANYTHING THEY WANT AND GET AWAY WITH IT!! In fact, we have learned that many of these postings are from the same group of friends who make up phoney email addresses and then logon to make these false attacks.

And IF ANY of this was true do you really think that every top modeling agency in the business would put their good names behind me and endorse me and travel all over America for 20 years to attend over 100 of my Model Expo events??

This person refers to the photo shoot offerred to models who were invited to attend a Model Expo. It is true that the Expo was absolutely FREE...and it is true that no models were obligated to use the photo shoot we arranged...it is also true that the cost of this photo shoot was just $395!! That incuded shooting with 3 DIFFERENT professional photographers from NYC AND having make up and styling done by top professionals also from NYC! THAT IS A CRAZY LOW PRICE!! AND THE PICTURES WERE AMAZING!! No models were forced to use this incredible photo shoot opportunity. It was an option! In fact dozens of models attended the Expo using their own pictures and DID NOT USE THIS PHOTO SHOOT FOR THEIR PICTURES.

Furthermore, there WAS a 100% satisfaction money back guarantee for this photo shoot. Before leaving the photo shoot, each model AND THEIR PARENTS HAD TO REVIEW all pictures on a computer AND SIGN A DOCUMENT APPROVING of the pictures before a disc of the pictures was made and given to the model.

ALSO...the point that "30 groups of models" is totally false...WE HAD NO SUCH GROUPS AT THE EXPO...AND EVERY SINGLE MODEL WAS SEEN IN PERSON BY ALL 35 TOP MODEL AGENCIES AT THE EXPO AND EVERY MODEL HAD THEIR PICTURES LOOKED AT BY EVERY SINGLE AGENT!!! SO OBVIOUSLY THIS PERSON NEVER ATTENDED THE MODEL EXPO!!!

Many models were discovered at this Expo in Washington, DC ND GOT SIGNED TO TOP MODEL AGENCIES...including one who has already made over $100,000 and is already being considered as a Victoria Secrets model!

FINALLY, the ONLY part of this that is true is that due to the economic disaster of 2008, I did elect to close my business. I had been scouting for 20 very long years and had started the careers of over 2,000 professional models. I had just been awarded the Lifetime Achievement award by the fashion photographers industry, was too old to live on the road any longer. and had reached every level of success I had set out to accomplish.
