I was booked to work for the agent "TradeShow Visions" and I got a frantic call that a model had canceled and if I could find a friend or the whole job was cancelled. I called around and got a friend that would come but not for an hour and that I would have to take her. He approved of her and the situation. I was giving the incorrect directions to the location and was calling non stop but no answer.

We finally got there and the client "Plumberex" had hired 2 other models. Making now a total of 4 models and 3 employees in a 6 x 6 foot booth. The model that I had brought also was much taller then the uniforms that were provided would fit and was very uncomfortable with the uniform but that would be her complaint not mine" During the show the client said said "that he would let us show our talents" and pointed to his crotch with his eyes. I also complained about this and TradeShow Visions said that I was making it up and that "his client uses him a lot and would not do such a thing" I have witnesses to prove what the client said. They also denied the girl whose uniform was too short to put on shorts and laughed.

We did work for about 3 hours and the event ended earlier then we expected. I was later told by TradeShow Visions that the model that I brought was not to be paid that they were unhappy will her performance. (NOT ONE TIME DID THEY COMPLAIN THE US ABOUT OUR PERFORMANCE) and we did "WORK" for 3 hours. Then I was told that I would be paid but that they were unhappy with me but that they would pay me (thats intent to pay) anyways (AGAIN NOT ONE TIME DID THEY COMPLAIN THE US ABOUT OUR PERFORMANCE). I have not received any form of payment I have made several calls and emails and no response at all. I did work for this agent one other time and he did something similar to me and the other models and did not want to pay us.

We have no way of contacting the client to see if what he says is true or if its a scam that he is doing so he can pocket the models money. I have emails and records of all emails and witnesses if needed.

A model with Tradeshow Vision

AUTHOR: Desiree' - Las Vegas (U.S.A.)

I've worked numerous tradeshows and special events for Tradeshow Visions. I always received a check within two weeks…no longer than thirty
days. I know TONS of happy models that have been with Tradeshow Visions from the inception and have not encountered any problems regarding
payments or with the agency itself. As a matter of fact, TSV is one of the few agencies that don't take more than twenty percent from a model. I've been screwed over before by a few other agencies so I'm very skeptical about the pay rate at times. Upon request, the president of the agency has provided me a copy of the contract of the amount being paid to him from the client and that I appreciated.

I have no complaints with TSV and I will continue to do business with them.

SMELLS FISHY!

AUTHOR: Elizabeth - North Hollywood (U.S.A.)

It is just a matter of time until you have a problem. Most girls that I worked with that worked with TSV have had some sort of problem.

If this was truly a model and not TSV themselves.

All I am saying is our agents should protect us, specially when asking us a favor like finding a model for them. Then he just turns around and stabs you in the back. I am not concerned with his contracts or if you want to continue with him, its all the future models that will encounter future problems that I am concerned with.

If you truly are a MODEL and not an employee TSV you would heed the warnings and not be insulted.

Lets getthe whole story

AUTHOR: Michael - Goldsboro (U.S.A.)

Elizabeth, my don't you spin a good story. First let me thank Desiree who is a real model in Vegas (look at the site) for defending me and my company.

Elizabeth you were 2 hours late, your friend looked like a biker chic just out of bed (I have the pictures) and she brought her boy friend with her who made everyone uncomfortable by being there any time anyone got close to her. I was in vegas when all this went down, you called to say you were stuck in traffic, I told you to call client who then gave you directions that the other 2 models followed and got there on time.

When you showed up 2 hours late with with a biker girl and her boyfriend you did work but as i stated in first call the client was not happy with either of your attitudes but had to have girls there. As for them making sexual comments, that is CRAP and you know it. I have worked with this client for over 2 years at hundreds of events with hundreds of models and NEVER EVER not once did any of them have a probelm. In fact your job and You are the only one ever to have a issue, kind of strange don't you think.

As for your pay, I mailed you what you earned for the 3 hours and being 2 hours late. I never heard from you that you did not get it, so i forgot all about you. As for your friend, she will not get paid do to the fact that the client was very upset at her look, her attitude and her boyfriend pushing up on folks that got near her. if she has issue tell her to call my attorney.

Oh and the previous job you mentioned that you had issue with, you got paid, but again that client said all you ever did was complain and want to sit down all the time. But every girl got paid, and in a timely fashion.

If I am so horrible why is so many models continue to work for me, I sign big clients to long terms deals every day, so if you thkn your little 200.00 if worth it to me guess again, you need to get over it and move on, if you never got the check i sent let me know I will resend today, to be done with you once and for all.

Never Got Paid

AUTHOR: Elizabeth - North Hollywood (U.S.A.)

No I never did get paid. I did everything I could to help the agency get the replacement model they asked me to find for them. I did spend so much time on the phone looking for someone to cover the agencys butt that I was late to the event. But I got the model. What should have happend is. The agency should have told me to not worry about it go on the the job and don't be late. But I was told to find one or I would not have a job.

The ugly model he is refering to was approved by him via email. Thats why it too so freekin long he needed to give the the OK to tell her to come.

I was late but I did work more then one hour thats for sure. We were there for almost 3. I never did get a check and this has been over 2 years. The agent knew I was going to be late since I was looking for a model for him as a favor and so I could work the show.

Honesty is the most important thing in a situation like this. And I did all I could to help out my agent so the client would continue to use him in the future. And I got stiffed in return and all the blame put on me.

The sexual comments from the client: Models are used to that behavior from men. As a model we hear that stuff all the time. But, that just topped the cake when I never got paid.
