John Casablancas Modeling & Career Center We canceled contract within 3 days to recieve full refund and no one will return our inquiries about refund Timonium, Maryland

My daughter received a phone call from some one at John Casablancas that said based on a picture she submitted a few years ago they had possible clients interested in her look. I set up a meeting on Wednesday June 10th to see what it was about. They auditioned her & asked questions then said they'd set up an appointment for the next day if she made it thru 1st audition.

Her next appointment was Thursday, June 11th at 7pm. They wanted her to attend a school and purchase a book & photos. It was a lot of money but my daughter really wanted this. I was told that we had to make a decision now because the class started that next Wednesday. I decided to give it a shot and paid a $500 deposit and the rest to be paid at the start of 1st class.

When we got home my daughter realized that the class was every other Saturday thru the summer and she had a few other obligations that feel on the same Saturdays she was scheduled for the classes. She also had a cast on her arm that was to be removed in a couple week & braces that she was scheduled to have taken off in a few months so she decided that she wanted to wait to do the classes.

I read the contract & it stated that you had 3 days to cancel contract to receive full credit back so I wrote the letter & mailed it certified mail. I also called the company & spoke to Julie Campatelli and told her of our change of minds and that if she could just return my check instead of cashing it or if she could let me know when the next class started so we could possible do that date. I saw my check cleared, and I have not heard any thing back from this company after 4 messages I have left. I have also since received a letter from National Educational Acceptance stating that they accepted my contract & it was approved for credit for the remaining balance. How this was submitted I don't know.

I am still waiting to hear back from some one at this company about my $500 refund.
