I used to work for this place and I really couldn't help but to reply to your complaint.
The main person of that office was stealing the promotional department's leads and profits from those bonuses that so rightfully belonged to the promotional staff! I saw this with my own eyes after having gotten many leads for them, and after they became sales, they turned out as bonuses for the Director of Operation's sales book!
Something very unethical! I do not have proof of this any longer, as I no longer talk to the person that does have this evidence. But if I wanted to... all of that is a phone call away!
When I used to work there, there was a student by the name of "Eagle" and he told me that he found out (as well as many other students) that they had called in a fake casting director for some sort of play. I'm not certain if it was a play that they were supposedly casting for or a commercial, but he told me that many of the students had found out that the casting director was a fake and was paid to take on this role!
I must say, we can't really fully blame the Director of Operations, Justine, for all the people that paid and ended up getting scammed. Although, in my opinion, I believe she knew this place was going to get shut down and she continued to take payments! I know this, because of the many things that have been published on this website so far by the other ex-employees!
For example: one ex-employee of that office published that they were not being paid by the owner, Kim Flowers, in Las Vegas and that they had threatened to not make any more sales. So, then Kim Flowers threatened to disconnect all phone lines and get the place shut down!
So... now! Let's ask ourselves, why under these circumstances would they take your money in January right before your classes started and the place was closed? That's FRAUD!!
It's FRAUD, especially given the fact that one of the ex-employees published that they had been threatened by the owner that she would shut the whole thing down! They knew it was going to happen, so for them to take the money is uncalled for!

Oh yeah! And there's no way you'll be able to get your money back! Even if you call Ron Patterson in California! That man if full of hypocrisy!
He contacted me saying that he wanted to make it up for the people that had been scammed and do the right thing, but in reality he just wanted as much information out of me as possible to go against Kim Flowers! He didn't care about what the staff went through or the clients!
You can't trust anyone in John Robert Powers! NO ONE!! Don't believe it for a second!
As a matter of fact, the very same space that was shut down is now open by the same greedy individual that ran the office here in our Reno location! It has a different name now, but the same staff that stole from the promotional department is there! No point in going back!
I want to mention one more thing... and I'm curious. Do you still have the document that stated that they were shut down due to an infestation? Because that has got to be the most obnoxious lie ever!
I have in my power a document that states that Pearl Entertainment, LLC (John Robert Powers Reno- owned by Kim Flowers) was sued by the Nevada Commercial Services.
Pearl Entertainment did not show up to this "hearing", if you will, nor did they file a counter affidavit.
So, I really don't know the full story behind this document, but obviously, they've lied about the infestation! They knew they had all these problems coming their way and they still decided to collect money knowing the place would be shut down!
It's too bad I can't upload this document, as I do not know if it is legal to upload it to the internet, but I can assure you that I have it in my power! There is a case number to it and everything. It's even stamped with the date it was received.
