Thank you for your time. I am the General Manager of Models International Australia. There was a complaint by Ms Bonney.
Models International Australia did not receive any payment from Ms bonney. Our company did not have any record of Ms Bonney. Our freelance photographer, being an outsider to the company, had a quick interview with Ms Bonney. Apparently Ms Bonney had to leave urgently due to another interview. She was supposed to come back and continue the application but that did not happen.
The freelance photographer explained the situation to us that she appeared to want a free portfolio for herself so she can get a job elsewhere to do with television. As a result of this, we are not interested in having anything to do with her as she cancelled appointments without much notice, she did not pay for anything and we were left out of pocket due cancelled
appointments and photographers being there for the appointments.
The whole thing is bizarre, does not make any sense whatsoever. The only conclusion we came to was that she mentioned time and time again to the photographer that she wanted to be famous on the television and she would do anything to do that. She also told the photographer that if he does not take photos of her and give them to her for free, she will cause problems.
Ms Bonney had photos taken a few years back and were not up to date. That is why she wanted new photos. Our photographer was there only for test shots. Also to supply us with the paper work after he finishes all that, then he would give it back to us, we then put it in our system. Ms Bonney failed to supply us with the information, so she kept on telephoning the company, abusing the staff, as the staff had no idea who she was as there was no record, she threatened the staff that she was going to take them to court, she was going to call the police, she was going to put everyone in jail. She was out of control and up to now, we still did not understand what is wrong with her.
Ms Bonney complained that there was a scam. Firstly she did not pay any money. Secondly she wanted the photographer to help her be a model but she did not complete the interview and we do not even know her details.
Thirdly she complained that there were more photos to be given to her. That is not true. A couple of photos were taken. The freelance photographer deleted some bad ones in the camera during the quick interview that lasted 20 mins. To
avoid trouble, the freelance photographer already supplied Ms Bonney with free photos, all the photos available as she keeps on telephoning and threatening us to put us in the news, to put us in jail. It appeared that she would like to be
in the news as she has trying to succeed in the entertainment industry for the last 20 years.

Please kindly remove the negative comment in your website posted by Ms Bonney immediately as there were no grounds. As it is, Ms Bonney has already received all the photos available for free. As far as your TV show goes, we will be more than happy to come on your show, this will help boost our business.

Please get in contact with the photographer as we have nothing to do with this.

Anyone is Australia and even the rest of the world.
Talent Agencies and anything involving movies or modeling, is a really easy scam to pull off.
Plus it's a rather hard gig to pull off.
Here in Sydney I know actors that were dumb enough to pay up to 400 dollars up front for a year membership. And even if the company was legit and they got maybe two jobs (the whole year), it only maybe covered 3/4 of the fee. The rest even if they were attractive got nothing.
The company I worked for only charged a small fee for membership, as we gained money from taking a 5% cut from your paycheck of each job. The company is nationwide, and I worked in the Sydney office when it first opened.
Don't hesitate to ask to see their business license. In fact, when in doubt DO IT. And stay away from the high paying agencies unless they are truly well known and their website is killer. Rule of thumb, generally the better the website the more connections they have.
