PLEASE BE AWARE OF THIS SCAM!!!! Learn the facts. www.SAG.org
First of all Vegas Talent, you should know that True Blood and any TV network series do not post castings on craigslist or fake casting sites such as Explore Talent and Actors Club, which is what this is. These type of castings are done through the Breakdown Services which goes directly to your SAG and AFTRA franchised agents, mostly located out of Los Angeles and New York. The agent then submits you on the casting, after you have been submitted by your agent, and IF the casting director is interested in seeing you, you are then set up with an audition. You can not crash these auditions; the casting directors know who is coming. Casting directors and film producers do not like it at all and will spread your name to the rest of the casting directors so that you may never work in this industry.
What these people are doing is taking auditions from stolen breakdown service, craigslist, possibly LA Casting, (a real casting website in which your franchised agent have to sign you up for) and posting the notice on a site along with fake notices, you submit through craigslist, and they send you an email saying that you have to sign up for their website and to do so, you have to pay. Real agents and casting directors NEVER CHARGE TALENT FOR AUDITIONS, WEBSITES, CASTINGS, that is why they are so picky about their clients, they have to get talent that will book jobs, that is how they make their money. They get 10% of the talent pay once the talent has been booked. Think about it! Actors Club / Explore Talent get thousands of people paying a fee for their websites, knowing that 90% of those people are not industry ready, they are just collecting their money, scamming all those people from all across the country, playing on people dreams. Most of their auditions are coming from craigslist posting, which are free to read and submit.
Also keep in mind that they always have fake email addresses set up with Gmail accounts. Gmail accounts can not be traced. Notice how they do not use an email to do the posting.
This is a fraud that is now under investigation. Please research and be careful.

I have registered with both sites. I didn't have any problems with Explore Talent except for the fact that they tend to inform me of castings in a few other states that I don't care to work in at the moment. I was able to get a job through that site within 6 days of having my head shots uploaded to the site. On the other hand, The Actors' Club ripped me off! I paid $20 and then, they prevented me from logging back on and wouldn't respond to my emails about receiving help with the password. Both Explore Talent & The Actors' Club never claimed to be agents but mediators instead that's why they never asked for a percentage of proceeds. Most mediators charge a fee for info about castings and casting submissions. The Actors' Club is the only one that really needs to be under investigation.
