Your story is as appalling as it is incredible in the present political climate. While the government is asking lenders to be more truthful and collaborate with people in difficulty, here is a rogue COLLECTION AGENCY pretending to be a lending institution, gouging people and harassing them in the process? Did you seek legal advice?

I am only a paralegal, not an attorney but I find difficult to believe that a lender can foreclose when some payments are being made, especially nowadays, unless there is some false representation made by the particular lending institution.

I am fighting this collection agency/would-be lender myself as they are in breach of the lending rules of my initial loan agreement as well as of FTC regulations. They have not taken any active adverse action as yet, they just keep sending harassing letters and ignoring mine, but they are getting close to trying.

I am poised with my attorney to take them full on if they do, but what they really deserve is for us to network and unite in filing a CLASS ACTION suit – It is FREE. We need to be compensated for the losses and emotional damages that this outfit has imposed upon us and they hopefully will have their license revoked as a lender which means that they will no longer harm anyone else.

I have already filed a complaint with the FTC. I urge every one damaged by this collection agency to do the same. It is free and it is very easy.
