Hurricane Katrina Survivor.
1992 took loan with Citifinancial for $30,000 dollars (including house insurance)
Loan should have been paid off in 2007.
2007 same loan with Citifancial. Price on loans is now $35,568.84 (note: this has
been same amount for several month, told us we have been just paying
interest since 2007, and maybe in September 2007 money will go to note
2005 house was destroyed by Hurricane Katrina . Contacted office in Georgia, to
find out if insurance on house would cover note. They told us we had to
contact office that we applied for loan at (Bay St Louis, Ms-office destroyed
by Hurricane, also Office in BSL, Ms all files were lost, told us there was no
back up files and told us to contact Jackson, Ms
2005-2007 still trying to get ahold of company to get pay off. They are giving us
the run around. They will not give us payment book or payoff.
We also want to know if there is a attorney that is going after Citifinancial
We are tired of the run around. And at this rate, I will never be able to get another house finance, since we are still paying on house that was destroyed by Hurricane Katrina.
Also,Citifinanial keeps asking us if we really want our home. Since everyone else (re: homes destroyed by Hurricane Katrina, re: Ms) have either been foreclosured on or just walked away from their homes. Also, stated that they have closed office in Bay St Louis, Ms.
