I've been with Citifinancial for several years. They bought my previous mortgage out.It's been a nightmare. Threats ever since. I've been trying to deal with this company, and have satisfied them for years. Enough is enough.

Four weeks ago, I received a letter from their attorney that I was two months late. Through this time, payment went through and I was current for my December payment. I therefore sent it to their attorney, based in Saint Louis.

I checked daily with my bank but the check never came through. Two weeks later, it was sent back, with a note that pretty well said they will not except it as it was not a check for the two thousand plus. And a foreclosure note.

I DID NOT OWE THEM THAT.

My attorney called their's and their attorney said the check was sent to Citifinancial and they sent it back to them.

Rubbish! And I have proof.

My attorney said everything should be okay.
They cashed my December payment as well. I sent the statement (due 1,106.12) with a check for the amount.
Today the mailwoman pulled up with a certified letter for me to sign. I figured it was for some past-due Christmas present that hasn't come yet.

It was from Citifinancial. They want $3547.29, and are going to forclose if I do not make amends by the 21st of January.

This letter was from Texas. I send my payments to another and their lawyer is in Missouri.
There is no communication. Who can you talk to, and do I trust if I do get a voice? No.

I've worked hard and many hours for many years to make my payments good. I'm tired of giving them whatever they ask for.
