Citimortgage modification nothing but precursor to foreclosure O'Fallon, Missouri

Citimortgage is full of liars.  After being laid off from my job over 2 years ago, and running thru my savings I called citimortgage to see what could be done about my mortgage.  This was my 2nd mortgage with them and never had any problems paying in the past.  They recommended a modification.  After, sending numerous paperwork over many months I had my "modification" which I set up to withdraw automatically every month.  For 2 years I paid this modifications.  Every once in awhile, they would call to say they needed updated financail information, which I would fax.  Two days ago, i come home to Foreclosure papers jammed into my front door!!!!  Upon my phone call to Citimortgage they proceed to tell me that a modification was never a guarantee of that my house would not go into forclosure, a point that was never mentioned to me when I began the modification process 2 years ago.  They also tried to say that back in 2010 they sent me a denial letter to my modification!! HA!!  FIrst of all I told them, I never got any such letter and if that was that case, whey did they continue taking the payment out of my account after this so called denial letter was sent??  Then they proceed to tell me that I can start the modification process all over again, but that it will not stop the foreclosure process... OMG!!  I have been paying on time for 2 years!!!!!  Citimortage does not want to help their customers, they want our homes!!
