Countrywide Home Loan Association FL & Corporate, screwed and ripped off

When we first got our 203 K mortgage in 2000 for an old house to renovate my husband had his parents cosign on the loan. It was not until we were at the closing table that we found his parents names had been placed on the deed. The FHA inspector Roger Chewning who was selected by Countrywide for our renovations never regularly inspected the house after the initial walk through. Further he severly underestimated the cost of many of the renovations.

Ms. Smith like another Countrywide recipient, told us that when our renovations were complete and we had paid our mortgage in a timely manner for about a year we could do a fast refinance. This did not prove to be the case. First they said becaause Charles parents did not live with us that they could not refinance. There had never been a plan for them to live with us nor had we ever implied that directly or covertly. In trying to work up a new loan they continuously we tell us one thing on the telephone then send materials for us to sign with diffferent interest rates and terms.

As I was disabled last year with no income and my husband is also disabled and blind we were exempt from even paying homestad taxes. Not according to Countrywide, they kept our tax escrow even thought they did not receive a bill from the tax accessors office. We are still working on getting our money back from them at this time. Is this another ENRON Company? If so this will have a huge fallout.
