Countrywide Home Loans. Diane Brown Took my 300 dollars for appraisal fee, and never did anything for the money. New Jersey New Jersey

I was trying to refinance my home, and applied with Countrywide Home loans. they were prompt to send my the application by mail, and requested that I gave them 300.00 dollars for the appraisal of my property, which they promply collected. We were supposed to close the deal on March 31st, I had locked my interest rate, and we are now into the middle of April and I can not get status on my loan, in fact I can't even talk to Diane Brown which should be the person working on my loan application.

This is the office in New Jersey, everytime I called I get this clerks that put me on hold for hours at the time, and keep coming to me encouraging me to hang up and treating me like I am begging for a favor. So far no one has called me, nor have I been able to contact anybody to just give me status.

I am begining to think that these people just took my 300.00 dollars and ran. I think they are dishonest, frauds, rude, unethical, and very un professional. I just wish I could just get my 300.00 dollars back and forget the deal with them. I am having a very bad experience.
