Fairbanks Capital Corp Aka Select Portfolio ripoff Salt Lake City Utah

Unfortunately, I have been experiencing what most everyone else has on this web site. If anyone out there knows how to get away from these people - please, please, please share the information with us. Fairbanks (Select Portfolio) has ruined our credit. We tried to buy a pickup and our credit report came back showing that we had been late with our payment every single month since we bought our home. I knew for a fact that was untrue, so while we were at the dealership, I used their computer and went onto Fairbanks' web site, pulled up my payment history and proved that my credit report was wrong. We did end up with the pickup, but now are fighting to get away from this company.

My biggest question is this - Taking into consideration the large volume of law suits and complaints, why is this company still in business????? They have been sued not only by individuals, but also the Federal Trade Commision and HUD. The Federal Trade Commision and HUD won their law suit against Fairbanks. Why hasn't someone put this company out of business?
