We financed our home with Equicredit in December of 2000. In mid year 2002 our mortage was sold to Fairbanks. Since they received our mortage we have had nothing but living hell. We continously receive demand letter from Fairbanks, and calls about every three days. The people of so rude and unprofessional until it makes you sick to hear them idenify themselves.
Of course they only give you there first name. We have owned our home for 20 years, we refinanced to do needed repairs and a addition to our home. God knows if we only knew then what we know now, the addition would have waited. The entire 20 years my home was financed with our original mortager we NEVER had this sort of problems.
My main concern with the people that operate the phones with Fairbanks is they definetely need some time of Professional training to deal with customers. People we need to remember we are the customers and we do deserve respect. It is only natural for emergencies to arise in our lives that cause us to get behind of payments and/or even miss a payment, but these people or so unprofessional they are trained to try and take what we work for just on the account they think they can. I recommend that each of you that have a concern with this company to seek professional help from a lawyer.
Most lawyers will work with you if you prove the hell and agrivation that these people have brought into your life. Most lawyers will accept cases on a continguent bases, meaning they will not get anything if you don't get anything.
I do encourage each of you to take this matter to a lawyer. I do understand that monies is a concern for you but again most lawyers will accept a case on the bases if you win they win.
