Met Life is not participating in the Making Home Affordable Program.  This is mandatory if the loan is a Fannie Mae/Freddie Mac Loan.  This is the program that helps homeowners refinance their mortgage so that they can pay it.  Met Life has many employees that constantly lie about Met Life's invovlement in the program.  Many of their employees tell me that Met Life does principal reductions for homeowners.  However after asking why they have not done that with my loan when I meet all of the government requirements they hastily hang the phone up.  I have spent 7 months on this.  Met Life is full of racist people, I have tape recordings of them calling me "cracker" and "white boy".  Met Life took money from the American tax payers and now they aren't helping them out when it is mandatory.  Met Life is not going to be a mortgage company soon.  They are going to transition into real estate.  Check out makinghomeaffordable.gov and you will see what I am talking about!
